Refund policy
EVERYDAY ESSENTIALS – Return & Refund Policy (South Africa)
This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.
1. Your Right to Return (CPA Cooling-Off Period)
You may return eligible goods within 7 days of receiving your order if:

The purchase resulted from direct marketing.

You notify us in writing within 7 days of delivery.
Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition. Return shipping costs may apply.
2. Defective or Faulty Goods (6-Month Implied Warranty)
Under Section 56 of the CPA, all goods carry a 6-month implied warranty.
If a product is defective, unsafe, or not as described within 6 months of delivery, you may choose:

A repair

A replacement

A full refund
EVERYDAY ESSENTIALS will cover return shipping costs for confirmed defective items.
If the item fails again within 3 months after repair, you are entitled to a replacement or refund.
3. Incorrect Items
If you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange collection and replacement at no cost to you.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items may not be returned unless defective:

Opened toiletries or personal care products (for hygiene reasons)

Used or damaged items not due to supplier fault

Clearance or sale items (unless defective)
5. Change of Mind Returns
If you wish to return an item due to a change of mind (not defective), returns may be accepted at our discretion provided:

The item is unused and in original packaging

You request the return within 7 days of delivery
Return courier costs are the customer’s responsibility. A refund or store credit may be issued once the item is inspected.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after inspection. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

EVERYDAY ESSENTIALS reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with this policy or the Consumer Protection Act.
